I wasn't expecting a silly surrealist indie game like this to be so positive and down to earth; everything about this just radiates a warm feeling that helps me to appreciate the good things in life and be mindful of what I have. I would love to see more from this game and more from your studio, and if this game stays as is and it's all that's made...that's more than enough in my eyes.
hemlo. It is very surprising how much I relate with this game in so random ways. Like all the crush thing and being a surgeon xd (I'm a just graduated physician). I have coding skills in unity so I would like to work in a project with u guys if that is possible owo
that was beautiful ngl, very relatable. this was my mother's favorite. its like if warioware and paper mario had a baby and exclusively fed the baby gummy worms and soda. amazing.
This was honestly just a delightful game. It kind of felt like it just did whatever it wanted, but it really worked. From the final boss (which was truly fantastic) to the big open world with all the characters in it, to all of the other segments, to even the artstyle, it has a truly fantastic energy to it. Made my night playing it.
In the first room up the stairs after you get the scanner, use 'E' to interact with the paintings. A particularly flashy one should also have some visible effect on the scanner. You can also look at everything with 'E', which also works well and has some worthwhile dialogue.
I like the art style, and there was one particulary odd bridge that particularyily peaked my interest. The irregular but soothing angles tickled a part of me that ididnt even know existed. Thank you very much to the team behind this game( I love you guys ;) )
Games like this bring me a lot of hope the sort of "punk" ethos in game development isn't dying out. Very much a readymade in every way I appreciate, and then some! Every part of this game is a highlight, though the boss fight was especially quite funny. Also glad to see that Beginner's Guide reference in the museum chapter lol.
this was delightful, very funny and creative. all the ways to move around, and the changes in interaction, felt so distinct and intentional. I liked how chill emotional reaffirmations were linked to the videogamey powers and transformations. the collage aesthetics pair nicely with like, taking stressful or relatable stuff ppl go through, and setting them next to each other in ways that make them strange, silly, and cute. great game, now I gotta lay down and be nice to myself...
Played through the whole game and it was so good! Really enjoyed the story, and definitely want to continue exploring the hub world to see what else I can find (I mean, if someone put a lamp post, there might even be a labyrinth somewhere behind some walls...)
It's been amazing to see how far you've come from your initial creative challenge, congrats y'all!
extremely charming, earnest and funny. loved the colorful character designs & animations, the minigames & their inspired music choices, the crush narrative. the visual design & voice feel super reminiscent of thecatamites, esp their "___ of the killer" games, but also stuff like sparkles & gems (resnijars), the pear game (niklasg), etc. the kind of game that makes you excited to make games. great job yall!

Does anyone have any tips on how to use the scanner? I'm stuck in the first part of the museum and don't know what I'm supposed to do!
Thanks :

thank you! I'll give it another shot. I must have been standing in the wrong place when trying to interact with the paintings
Loved the big open hub world and all the funky characters! the philosophical captcha's during the final boss gave me a good chuckle
delightfully maximalist! my brain is so scratched
Your download button totally freaked me out for a second!

This is amazing. In every way possible. Great job ! The mix of real elements, stock photos and your own "Ultra ADHD-like" artstyle is fantastic !

this was a fun game but it also made me remember how no one cared for me during middle school so now i'm sad
you deserve a hug
